i was wondering where you were going to go at first but it seems that this would be great for someone that reverse pivots…. thanks

For a long time instructors taught students to have the feeling you were “sitting” on a bar stool. I always believed we should have been teaching people to feel as though you were “leaning” back on a stool. The last thing you would ever want to do is sit in golf. Sitting will cause the golf club to swing too level to the ground in the downswing, and you will have a tendency to hit the ground behind the golf ball. w w w (dot) golferbreak80 (dot) c0m

Hi
I think his way of teaching is very reasonable. I appreciate his idea. We should develop his method. I will recommend my friend the vidio.
Thank you for your idea.

is this guy even qualified to teach golf? that was awfull and the last swing he made before the end was nothing like the tripe he had just been preaching about. if i were to teach that to my students i’d loose my house because no f++ker would bother coming back!
July 11th, 2010 on 11:30 pm

July 12th, 2010 on 2:33 am
He sure does… I like how he reaches into the basket to pull out one ball at a time. His back must have been sore after that.
Oh well, we all have to start somewhere I guess.
July 12th, 2010 on 2:45 am
he does knwo he looks stupid doing that
July 12th, 2010 on 3:38 am
Yeah… a Gary Player kind of drill. I could never step away from my swing smoothly like you demonstrate. I realize now that I have to start the process earlier in the swing so that I can finish ‘together’ more. Okay, headin’ outside…
July 12th, 2010 on 4:08 am
the big guy behind you could sure do with your advice!!
He has one awful swing..
July 12th, 2010 on 5:07 am
Nice presentation of the Peter Beames/Gary Player “Walk-Thru” golf swing!

I am a de la Torre follower. I also read a lot of Shoemaker. I’m familiar with several other methods of instruction/theory. Flick, Harmon, McClean, TGM, and Pelz. I don’t teach any particular way other than what I’ve put together as my own as a grab bag of what I know to be true studying all of the information I can get.
July 12th, 2010 on 5:32 am
Is this based on Leslie King’s Lesson 3 exercise? I’m wondering if your teaching method is coming from the same school (Jones/de la Torre/King).
July 12th, 2010 on 5:45 am
Just Great
July 12th, 2010 on 6:36 am

@ST3PHEN2K10 I think the directions are written wrong, it should say when running up a wall releas X, press L (sideways) THEN press X.
Pressing X after you reach your high point just jumps back towards you.
Practice in the hallway before moving the gear – try to reach the top of the wall and then Release X, push L stick (to the right) and then press X again. Wait for the software) you should be okay.

This is Fantastic. You saved the game for me. I kept falling (15 times) off when I run up the “pillar then Left jump”. I was running up to it. I see you walked up to it.
It’s the little things that count!
