This looks better than Fallout 3 ( people make the comparison ). I personally did not like Fallout 3, it was a step down from Oblivion. It was depressing to play. This however looks quite good.

There are 2 types of bullets:
-Military Grade
-The low quality ones made in the metro.
Military grade bullets are the currency. Also, you can use both of them as ammunition.

Why dont you just buy a widescreen 23 inch monitor full hd with a xbox 360 in 108p :L the graphics is amazing if you sit far back. so much better than having trouble with ur pc.

Good walktrought, But i think that the book is alot better than the game. You cna know from it stuff like: what where the dark ones, why hunter didint come back and what did he tell Artem he will do.

any graphics card that is new should run mostly fine. Anything below the GeForce 8000 series may suffer in terms of graphics power, so the laptop you have should be powerful enough to run it. If you also have a gig of ram, and a good CPU, then you should be safe!
